Vaccinations and boosters
<< Back to Conventional Treatments
It is important to protect your animal against major diseases such as:
- Distemper (hardpad)
- Parvovirus
- Leptospirosis
- Adenovirus (infectious hepatitis).
- Cats
- Dogs
- Small Pets
At oakwood we believe that the optimum time to give the vaccines are at 12 and 14 weeks of age. This allows the immune system time to mature enough to cope with the vaccine, early vaccinations maybe less effective or even harmful to some animals. In special cases we will start the course as early as 9 weeks. Your animal should not be allowed contact with other animals of known health status until 2 weeks after the second injections.
